Young Noah (7) from Beaminster passed his 5th Kyu Jiu-Jitsu grading today. With his partner Alfie they demonstrated perfect what a young child can learn in this special martial art.
Noah had to perform rolls and falls, followed by the technical skills including defence against strangling, wrist- and arm locks, throws and hold downs. The theory is part of the grading and Noah could answer all the relevant questions including anatomy, Japanese terms and thoughts about self defence and the law.
Very well done Noah and Alfie. Big congratulations from all of us!
