On April the 25th we had the special pleasure at Ichinen Bridport to hand out the precious grade of 4th Kyu / orange belt Jiu-Jitsu to our member Dorothy Hudston (15) from Whitchurch Canonicorum in Dorset. Dorothy trains this martial art since May 2018 and has reached a very good standard by now. In this grading, which is already the 3rd she passed successful Dorothy had to demonstrate 31 Jiu-Jitsu skills and seven defences against the most common attacks.
Partner for this grading was BlackCombat 1st Dan and Jiu-Jitsu 1st Kyu / brown belt Lewis A. Harris (66) from Bridport. Master Horst D. Lindenau was assisted to overlook this grading by brown belt Andy Loudon. The result of the exam was “good” and it has to be mentioned, that Dorothy will contribute with this new certificate towards her “Duke of Edinburgh award” silver contest. Big congratulation Dorothy!
