Paul Blake has started his personal journey with the martial arts nearly 17 years ago. He trained Jiu-Jitsu and the German self defence style Anti-Terrorkampf. Already then his goal was to gain black belt status and be a 1st Dan martial arts master one day.

Today Paul is a member of Ichinen Bridport and studies Jiu-Jitsu and the successor of Anti-Terrorkampf, the BlackCombat self defence system of modern times ( )

Training is offered by Ichinen Bridport twice a week in these disciplines, but for Paul that seems to be not enough to gain his black belt level. Therefor he studies both martial arts with Grand master Horst D. Lindenau ( 6th Dan BlackCombat, 6th Dan Anti Terror Combat, 3rd Dan Jiu-Jitsu, 2nd Dan Anti-Terrorkampf, certified diploma sport teacher, Yoga master, Meditation teacher, life coach) on a private 1:1 basis.

The big effort paid out this week with another great success for Paul when he passed his 1st Kyu / brown belt exam under the eyes of Master Lewis A. Harris and Master Andy Loudon (both 1st Dan Jiu-Jitsu) with flying flags. They rated Paul’s performance during the grading in Bridport as “very good”!

Master Horst and 4th Kyu Mark Butt from Ichinen Bridport were grading partners for Paul.

Paul is now aiming for the 1st dan grading Jiu-Jitsu. His studies with Master Horst continue. Next step will be the graduation as a brown belt in BlackCombat. But Paul is not only going the very tough way, he is aiming next for his “eleven” grade in Yoga!

If you think Paul is doing great and wish to follow his efforts and do something for yourself, Master Horst is looking for one more private student. Use the contact form on this page for your first step.
