It didn’t take long after the forceful closure of our Jiu-Jitsu school in Bridport to come back to old glory and strength. Both, adult Jiu-jitsu and the children group are strong in numbers again and the training goes very well.

This can be seen best when members improve their skills and gradings are taken. Young Jago Saines (12) from Broadwindsor, who is a member since 2019 and joined training after lockdown closure, graduated as a 5th Kyu yellow belt in Jiu-Jitsu. All of us at Ichinen Bridport Jiu-Jitsu congratulate Jago for his success!

That same day Master Lewis A. Harris received his 2nd Dan Jiu-Jitsu. Well done Master Lewis! You are a living example for our children training the wonderful martial art Jiu-Jitsu. Examiners were Master Steve Reynolds 5th Dan, Master Horst Lindenau 3rd Dan and Master Andy Loudon 1st Dan.
